The Shoot is a community of models and photographers in Ireland. We network and collaborate together on projects to help build up each others portfolios and skills.
We hold monthly events with different themes, locations and networking opportunities.
Stylists, makeup artists, videographers, fashion designers etc. are also welcome to attend the events and to join the community.
The community WhatsApp group is where our discussions and updates are held. If you’d like to join then just send us a private message to our Instagram page with your portfolio.
Our Instagram is a platform to showcase our communities work. Many opportunities are in the works behind the scenes, but if you’d like to be featured then just tag us or use #TheShootIreland.

Lomography Jersey Event
On the 28th June, The Shoot Ireland held a Jersey event in Dublin City. This was one of our most requested themes after organising a similar event last year.
More than 45 people showed up. Mostly models and photographers attended but there was also some videographers too. People brought a variety of sporting props, and the models wore jerseys from different sports too

At The Shoot, we’re passionate about celebrating creativity and storytelling through film photography, and partnering with Lomography allowed us to take that passion to new heights.
Back in November Lomography lent some Diana F+ and LomoApparat cameras, along with some LomoChrome Purple film to The Shoot Ireland for a special Lomowalk in Blessington, a small town on the River Liffey in County Wicklow. In this interview with Gavin, we answer questions about Ireland's growing analogue community and he shared some of the photo results from the day, including a video he made of the Lomowalk with interviews from some of the participants.
